i love toast!
too bad we didn’t get any…. instead ravi and monkey got up and said some things
after so many years of working on this toast.. it was so short! i was expecting a novel.. but it was meaningful and sweet and i love ravi!

monkey said she wasn’t going to say anything.. and then she did and she made me all teary. sweet monkey.
then my sweet wonderful pookie hubby got up and said some things and thanked everyone for coming.
kinda looks like he’s crooning, doesn’t it? heehee!
i joined him…
but mostly people were interested in seeing his sexy legs!

sing a song of sixpence
in a moment of panic – when everyone started clanging their glasses and knives – we realized we forgot to issuse our challenges to tables if they wanted us to sing! we had all these brilliant ideas BEFORE we got married, but with everything that was going on we completely forgot about them.
so… we had people sing a song.. extra points for anything kenny rogers…

jill and her boyfriend dave got up and sang a song from buffy, the musical.

my cousins richard, chris and bill sang a song, too. it was.. um.. all shook up? maybe? gosh, i can’t even remember.. all i remember is that it was a treat, they are the funniest guys. i love them!

sigh.. these three kept getting up and whispering and starting something and we thought we were in for this HUGE production just to get us to kiss… nothing ever happened. they all chickened out. sheesh! but you still gotta love marcel, sammer and bernie because they’re sweet and funny and the fact that they were going through this whole ordeal and then nothing…. well it was SO funny!

wedding mascot
if you’ve seen our disney trip 2004 photos, you’ll possibly remember finnegan our little elephant.. well, we couldn’t have a wedding without him! only he got a little overwhelmed and had to be put to bed pretty early…

here he is calling all his bitches trying to get them to come party until the light of dawn.

sadly, he didn’t last until the light of dawn. seeing as he is just a little guy he ended up drinking too much and falling over into my flowers. poor guy. i think that was his second glass of wine..

wedding reception – decor
thank goodness chelsea had my camera, because we never would have seen how the hall was decorated before we got there… chelsea took these shots for us:

this punch was completely GONE when we got there (about 25 mins after everyone else). in fact they took away the foutain thing too, we didn’t even know it was there until we uploaded my photos!

we were also happy to see that the placecards were all set up… all these tables were supposed to be there when we went to set up in the morning, but nothing was ready. we had to leave the box of wedding favours on a table and just hope that they would place them before everyone got there. luckily it was all done. *whew*!
